Sweets

My Dad loves sweets! Twinkies, Oreo cookies, Peeps, taffy, Valomilks, and one he really loves is Homemade ice cream. He used to make homemade ice cream all the time, even throughout the winter months. As the Alzheimer's took over, though, it became difficult for him to work the freezer and he became unable to make his favorite treat. I have his freezer now. This Sunday is Father's Day and many of our family will be getting together on Saturday evening to celebrate our Dad. We're going to make his favorite foods; shrimp, corn on the cob, and of course, homemade ice cream. I'll tell you all about our evening later! And I'll tell you more about my Dad later, too.
